Rancho Vista . . . Rise to the Occasion

Did you know without funding from the Peninsula Education Foundation

*We would have 3 fewer teachers: Ms. Stewart, Ms. Briskin, Ms. Palmer
*Our classes would have more students per class
*We would not have a media specialist: Ms. Richard
*Your child’s classroom and choral music would be cut

Did you know that if the Peninsula Education Foundation does not make its goal this year, they will not be able to fund some of the above items for next year?  Rancho Vista wants to help raise awareness of PEFs pledge of $2million to our schools and increase our participation.  We are having a fundraising drive.  Our goal is to have 60% of our Rancho Vista families donating to PEF.   Here’s how we’ll celebrate when we reach 60% participation:

*Each classroom that reaches its individual goal of 60% participation will receive a homework free day from the teacher.
*Each grade level that reaches its goal of 60% participation will receive a grade level activity to be determined by the teachers.
*Once the entire school reaches its goal of 60% participation, the entire school will have an extended lunch period.
